Description
Join us for an evening of dance, music and connection. All are welcome, especially those who have never tried ecstatic dance before. This is a warm gathering to dance, celebrate, and express yourself free.
Live DJs Marc Statz and John Stuart will play a variety of musical genres to take us all on a 2 hour dance journey. We will incorporate practices of movement, mindfulness and breath into the dance experience.
This event is hosted by Marc Statz, John Start and Ash Guerrieri, who are experienced ecstatic dance DJs and event facilitators professionally trained by Dance the Medicine, to create a safe dance environment for all.
SCHEDULE
7:15 - Arrival
7:30 - Opening Circle + Music Starts
7:45 - Doors Close
9:30 - Closing Circle
10:00 - We all depart
GUIDELINES
- No speaking on the dance floor so we can all connect deeper to the practice.
- We dance barefoot (or soft shoes only in case of a health/medical condition)
- No alcohol or substances
- No phones and no photos or filming is allowed (please note our team may occasionally take candid photos of the event)
- Respect personal space and ask before partner dancing
